I am a quitter! : )

So on Thursday my hip started to hurt again and it was worse. So I told my dad and he told me to decide what to do. So I decided the best thing to do was to quit soccer and concentrate on track. So I did quit and I was happy that I actually did something that showed I cared more about track than having fun and playing soccer.

So I went to the doctors today and he didn't even do anything he asked me like 3 questions and moved my leg up and down. He was in there for seriously 5 minutes. All he said is that it could be a sign of early arthritis and that he was writing a referral for the sports physical therapy doctor. We have to call tomorrow to see if we got an appointment. At first I was crying because I thought I couldn't run again, but luckily I can and if I can control it it won't hurt. My dad says there are many elite track athletes that have it.

November 24

Today nothing really happened. Most of my classes were dead because of a field trip that took out a lot of the juniors and because to day was the last day of school before Thanksgiving Break!

Finally "hell week" is over. It started Monday and we had to be at school at 5:45 AM! It was seriously the earliest I have woken up in a long time. It was pretty hard I had to push myself sometimes also. I was really sore when we did 12 perimeter sprints around our field. My legs hurted like crazy because we had to backpedal some of them. Oh well maybe it will make me be in better shape by track season. Hopefully we will go to the track on Friday so I can see if I can do a 400 better than what I did last time (65) bad bad bad! I think my endurance has gotten a lot better, but we will see.

We scrimmaged JV girls team and I played left forward and scored 2 goals out of 3. We won (of course). Haha.

Soccer Results

Sorry that I put up the results so late. I made the Varsity girls team! I was pretty suprided because I am not that good but oh well. Next week I have practice at 6am Monday to Wednesday. If anyone gets there even a minute late everyone has to do full field sprints so we all place to be there at 5:45 just to be on the safe side.

I will post up the date for my game a week before in case any of you want to come watch us.

Soccer

For this past week I have been trying out for our school soccer team and I did pretty well. She had me practice with the varsity girl (only about 6 of them) and she said I did pretty well, so I hopefully mad at least JV. I find out on Monday so wish me luck!

Nothing much has really happened other than I have no iPod. Bradley doesn't have soccer on weekends anymore so more time for me to do non important stuff, or work in my garden (my sweet peas are getting bigger). The Galaxy play this Sunday in the FINALS! They will win (hopefully) and I will be cheering them on the whole time.

I drove!

Tonight I got to drive for the first time! My mom took me to the parking lot in front of Sunkist Library and I practiced parking, braking and turning. I did pretty well exept for the time I pressed the brake too hard and we went forward. There was a park ranger who asked if I was learning to drive because we kept stopping and he probably thought I was going to buy drugs or something. Ok sure. Then I got to drive down Wayside, up Diana Ave. and up into our driveway. My mom was nagging me to keep my foot on the brake but I parked right. It was pretty fun.

Well thats all for tonight and I am mad at my mom for taking Siobhan tomorrow to the Dora show, that was my idea.

iPod

Man my iPod is retarded! It will not upload my songs and then erased them from my iPod. Hopefully it is still in warranty so I can exchange it for another and only have to pay for the disposal. Man I have really bad luck with iPods. I guess tomorrow I will have to use a portable cd player (old school) at Bradleys game because I am not going to be able to sit there for howevr long without listening to music.

Well I am pretty tired so I am going to go to bed.

GALAXY!!!

Yes the Galaxy did win their first playoff game with a score of 3-0! Man it was the best game and Cobi, Chris and Hercules almost got in fights.

I did get a high five from Pando (my BF he just doesn't really know) and he smiled and raised his eyebrows at me (he did LOWER them too! :^) .) I know he likes me. HAHA! It was fun though and it was a great game.

unfortunately I have school tomorrow and my sister (not really) Araceli will not be there to joke around with me. :^(

The Flu Sucks!

I haven't been on the computer for a while so I haven't been able to write. So far nothing exciting has happened, just the usual stuff: school, track and family. Although i did finally get my articles from newspaper. One is about the new coaches for cross-country and one about our new ice cream machine on campus/ 2007 no junk food on school campus. They are going pretty good right now.

So yesterday after the unfortuante Galaxy game (they lost :^(. ) I didn't feel so well and when I got out of the car I was kind of woozy. Then I threw up and like almost every 20 minutes. I guess I got that stupid stomach flu. I feel way better now.

O yah all of you guys check out The Veronicas (http://www.theveronicas.com/indexhtml.html) really cool sisters and CD coming out later this year. Their single, "4ever" is the best song FOREVER!

AUDREY!

Yes... My loving dad did buy me a new bike. It is so nice compared to the old one this one is the best. The Klein did do me good, but Audrey is new and she has rear suspension and cool brakes. I named my new bike Audrey, after Audrey Hepburn, of cause. We are going to have some fun rides.

Some photos I took of the park. I took them from the amphitheater and to get there you have to take a trail about 4 minutes of going on a wicked climb. There are sharp rocks just sticking out of the dirt, so you have to go around them. You go up and your legs hurt and then there is a left turn and you see there is more, and you just sigh and keep peddling. My then my legs were burning, and then the devil part. The last uphill that just keeps going up and the turns to the right. Devil climb is what it is. The first time I did this I stopped 3 times, this time I didn't stop but almost fell of on the last uphill part. Downhill is easy though. I enjoy that part.

Grandpa's Memorial

We had a memorial service for grandpa today and a lot of people came over today that we haven't seen in a while. Holly is all "university girl" (what I call her) and doesn't have to start school until 11 am (LUCKY!). I also saw my cousin Rochele who is only a month younger than me. I haven't seen her for like a year and I was happy to see her, but I didn't really get to talk to her because I was busy taking pictures.

My dad made a photo memory DVD of all the pictures I scanned and it was so good. Perfect music and everything. It was nice though.

Go Go GALAXY!!

YES!!! The Galaxy has won today. Now they have to win the next game on Wednesday. Man, my "X" Marcelo Saragosa came back to the team. He is so cute... but wouldn't want to make Pando jealous! (haha)

So my mom and I have to start planning our Christmas party. Its going to be the best! I am going to make my enchiladas for our potluck. My mom will probably make something burnt or not cooked all the way. :^/

So tomorrow I have school (yeah) and that means back in the stuffy classrooms for an hour. I know I am going to catch some type of sickness from being stuck in a portable with no air flowing through it and 30 to 40 kids stuffed in it. Plus those stupid portables are either freezing or 100 degrees. The teachers are no help at all either. You walk into a classroom and it is 100 degrees on a cold day and -60 degrees when it hot. They always say "I can't turn the AC down because then I will start sweating like a pig" So we are stuck either having to bring a sweatshirt to school when it is 90 degrees outside or the opposite.

But now it is time for me to sleep because I have 0 period tomorrow. I hope we get what our actual jobs are because we need to put out the first issue of our newspaper next month.

Animal Farm

When we took our trip to Mexico we stopped by our usual shop when we go to Ensenada. The owner had two big boxes of books and he told my mom and I we could have any as long as we took care of them. I picked out 4 books and one was Animal Farm. I got it because I had read the book last year and I like it. Today I opened the cover and it was stamped Katella High School! It is really old, it said it was printed in 1946.

It was so funny though and my dad thought it was funny too.

School and Updates

So I have started school and its going good so far. I have an A++ in math (yes we have done alot of work) and I have turned in everyone of my assignments. Track is going well too.

Oh, so yesterday I was running at Bradleys practice and on my third lap my eyes and nose started to hurt. When I got in the car I started playing my dads PSP. My eyes started getting dry and they hurt and I was wheezing and sneezing. When I got home I went to the bathroom to rinse my eyes and I looked in the mirror and I started crying. I looked like a sharpei! It was so bad and my dad kept making fun at me. The swelling has gone down because I have been putting on a wet compress.

Phoenix Club

Last night we went to the Phoenix Club village fair. It was fun. I got to take my friend Elizabeth too. I bought Siobhan a princess necklace and a sparkiling bracelet. She looks so cute with them on.

We played soccer against some other kids that were there and we won (of course).

Well I start school on Thursday and I haven't even gone school shopping yet. Anyways I am not looking forward to being in a classroom for and hour, but I have to do it.

Summer almost over

Man summer is almost over and school starts in 2 weeks. We go school shopping this week. I want to go back, but I know after a couple weeks I will wish it was summer again.
On Thursday my dads friend, Eddie, had a retirement party for thier friend Daniel. It was fun and the food was DE-LI-CIOUS! There were alot of drunk people dancing and singing. Siohban also had fun playing with her friend Vanessa in her room and being dancing partners. It was a real party, tons of beer and things to eat.
Today we had our garage sale and I sold a pair of overalls, a pair of pants, some boxes, and a candle. Next time we will know what the people are looking for.

Mexico Trip

So we got back from Mexico on Thursday. I had a lot of fun. We first stayed at Newport Beach Hotel in Puerto Nuevo. It was great I got my hair braided, went swimming, ate lobster and shrimp cocktails and drank pina coladas (yum). While we were there we went to our friend Oscars house. He is the cook at the hotel. We had lunch there and it was fun. His sons, Eduardo and Jose Luis, were so cute and so was his new baby, Maria, who my mom held for a long time. They had a chicken, rooster and two baby ones. I thought that was cool.

After we went to Estero Beach Hotel in Ensenada. On the way there we stopped to ride horses along the beach. Siobhan rode with me and Bradley rode by himself. We think our horses didn't like each other because mine would kind of trot fast and then Bradleys would see it coming and start going faster. It was fun and we saw jellyfish an d a starfish.

The hotel was so cool though the pool was the best part. It had a swim up bar and palm trees in it. It was cool. My brother and I went swimming from 7 to 10 and then us and other people got kicked out. We had a great time. We also had the best tortas EVER! It was at a place called the Three Friends. It was a little street stand. It was good.

I also had bought a watermelon for a DOLLAR! I couldn't believe it. Unfortunately we didn't have a knife so I decided to give it to someone at the border. So my dad asked a lady and she was so happy and had the biggest smile on her face when I gave it to her.It made me feel really good knowing I could be helping her kids.

I cant wait until we go again!

My 16th Birthday

Today was my 16th Birthday and I had alot of fun. First I went out to lunch and got some shirts with Grandma Sue, then we went to dinner at Angelos and Vincis in Fullerton.

We came home and my mom took me to get my nose pieced. What we didn't know we need my birth certificate and a photo id of me. So we went back home and my mom got my certificate and my passport and we went back. the guy who did it was cool, he told me it doesn't hurt alot it just stings. Then he told me what he was going to do before he did it. He did it and it actually didn't hurt as much as I thought. I think it looks good and it takes 3 months for it to heal.

So my birthday was fun and this Saturday we leave for Mexico and then my PARTAY!

2nd Ride

Today was our second bike ride abd it was so much fun! I fell two times and scraped my knee once, but Bradley for being a "pro" he sure did fall alot!

Well I am really tired and tomorrow is my B DAY! Yeah I am 16. My parents said I could have a little party so we are doing the invites so I can send them out.

Bike Stuff

Today my dad bought me biking shoes, shorts, sock and gloves for when we go riding. It was my early birthday gift and I love the shoes and gloves. Now tomorrow when we go riding I will look pro. HAHA. Anyway right now the Galaxy game is on against Colorado. Galaxy has not won one away game this whole year. So they better win today.

Yesterday was my mom and dads 5th anniversery and they went out to dinner while my brother and I watched the babies. We had fun and Siobhan wanted to watch Cheetah Girls, but it wasn't on so she cried for a while until I saw Hook was on then she was quiet. Diego had fun to running around, eating, running some more, eating some more and then he fell alseep. Is that the life or what?!?

Well now I have to tell my dad about my "little party" I am going to have with a couple of my friends.

Bike Ride

Today we went for our first bike ride and it was fun. I only skidded once coming down from a hill. My legs are all scratched up from those stupid plants and they got caught in my front tire.

The only animals I saw were 2 horses, a dog, an owl and these giant black beetles (gross!)

My brother and I took a different path down a little ways and I was freaked out! I could hear these bushes moving and see spiders and humongous beetles! I kept getting my wheel stuck in the sand because I couldn't see. We were surrounded by trees, bushes and some plants that smelt really bad. It was dark.

That's all for tonight because I am tired.

I am so SORE today! My legs and my arms hurt. Oh well at least it will help me.

Update

Today was my first time going back to the track and I did a workout given to me by the Striders and it felt good to be back on the track.

My dad timed me on the curves and my fastest was 13.59 and 14.5 they are pretty good since I got those times in the end of last season. I am still not in shape either, so hopefully I will get faster.

This is the second week of summer school and one of the hardest chapters is over. Hopefully I will do well in the other sections we do. I have a strong B so hopefully with some good grades on my tests I can get an A.

I am excited about us going to Mexico in a couple of weeks.

Irvine Park

Diegos first ride on a pony. He liked it just like Siobhan did, but he didn't cry. He looked so cute and kept trying to grab the pony's hair.
He also had his first train ride and loved it. He liked looking at all the birds and squirrels and he liked the air going against his face. He didn't like the part through the tunnel because some little kids were screaming pretending they were scared and he got freaked, but didn't cry.


P.S. Diego and Siobhan both got some new vans. I will post pictures. They look so cute!

Game and school

Monday was the Galaxy game and it was alot of fun. The fireworks were great and after the game Coca-Cola was handing out a bunch of Coke with lime and you could take how ever much you wanted. We all got 10 together. Its actually not that bad.

Summer school is sliding along pretty good. I got through the first week and the second week is almost over and then I only have one more week of english and then I tackle math. ( yeah :/ ) Right now I am going to take Siobhan to Grandma Carols for ice cream. I am going to take my english book so I could get started reading it.

Galaxy

Summer has been moving good so far. I got through my first week of summer school with an A and hopefully I will keep it up. It is actually pretty easy.

Today is the Galaxy game and I am going to get Josephs signiture today. There is the firework show and I think Diego will like it.

Right now Siobhan is swimming in the pool we got yesterday. Its pretty big. Diego is taking a nap before we leave.

G. Bilottas Dinner

Tomorrow I start summer school and I have to be there by 7:15 to get my class number. We just came back from Trader Joes and I bought these sorbets in a "natural shell". I remembered that we had the same ones in France and so I bought them.

On Friday we went to see Uncle Richard play at G. Bilottas with Lee Farrell sing and play music. It was fun and Lee was so funny. He did this underwater song and it was hilarious! He's really nice and he told us to go see Bewitched and my dad said that I have been asking to see it. It was fun and the food was delicious.

First Day of Summer

Summer is finally here. I have summer school starting next week. I am going to kick some $*#! haha

Anyway right now I am taking care of Diego with Bradley and I am going to go help now.

An A!

Today nothing interesting happened other than... I got a A on my spanish project! I was so happy. She kept it to use it to show to her other students. I know it was pretty good. HAHA.

I only have one school week left and two half days next week than I am off!

Diegos B-Day

Today we celebrated Diegos birthday. We had a few people come over and it was fun. Diego ate some of his own personal cake and had some chip dip (given by me). Of course he wouldn't walk for anyone. He was a little whiner at the beginning but then he got used to it and was crawling to everyone.

My mom took me to the Crystal cathedral last Saturday and we saw Jaci velasquez sing. I loved the song! It was from her new cd that came out on Tuesday called Beauty Has Grace. I am supposed to recieve it this week.
So I waited in line to see her and she signed the cd cover and she said my mom was sweet and to take care of mom.
It was great and after months of her not coming to California I finally got to see her 10 minutes away from my house.

Track Update

Here are all the things that have happened in the past few weeks:

1. Against Cypress the only team who won was the frosh/soph girls team. We got first in the 100 relay and I got 2nd in the 100 and 200. In the long jump I got first.
2. We raced against Kennedy and the boys varsity and girls frosh/soph won. We got first in the 100 relay and I got first in the 100, 200 and long jump.
3. Then we raced Loara on Wednesday and the boys frosh/soph and varsity won and girls frosh/soph won also.

The meet against Loara I got 3rd in the 400 with 1:07 and the 200 I got 28.97. I also did the 400 relay and I was the anchor. I was really nervous because I was racing the girl who had beaten me in the 400 earlier. So we had maybe a 20m lead when I got it and I kept in until the 2nd curve. The girl caught up and then passed me. When we came off the curb I got side by side with her and we kept switching places. The the last 40m or so I got this burst of speed and led us to a 5 foot lead! It was great.

This monday is League prelims and I am doing the 100, soo long jump and the 100 relay.

Finally!

My two weeks are finally over and I can start practicing. This week we play Cypress (hard team) at their house. I am kind of nervous only because I have not worked out in two weeks.

Ouchie : )

So... my hip has been hurting for about two weeks now and my mom finally took me to see the doctor on Saturday. It turns out I strained and inflared it (something like that). Now I can't workout for TWO WEEKS! That means I am probably going to miss the Valencia track meet next Thursday. I think I can start running next week because it doesn't hurt as much now.

Anyway I have still been doing my ab work and doing things that don't concern my hip.

Anyway tomorrow I have a track meet at Orange Lutheran. Then I have a track meet against Valencia on the 7th of April at my school. I had the Katella Relays last Friday and Saturday and I had fun. We placed 2nd in the 4x1, 4th in the 4x2 and last in the 4x4. Girls Varsity placed 3rd over-all. Thats pretty good since we had like 12 girls. Better then last year for sure.

Recent All-Comers

Yesterday I went to another all-comers at HB high school and I ran the 200, 400 and did long jump. In my heat I placed 4th in the 400 and got 1:12 which isn't that good. In the 200 I placed 3rd after running terriable and got 29.41 which isn't that bad because I took some time off from last time. In the long jump I jumped 12' 3, 11'13 and 12'10 1/2. These are good seeing as how I was a foot behind the board and I wasn't going full speed. Anyways, I was happy because I am currently sick and these were pretty good.

As a reminder I have a school pratice track meet at Servite against some schools this Saturday at 8 am.

Track Meet 2

Today I had an all-comers meet at Hunington Beach High School. I ran the 400 and 200.
In the 400 I ran really bad, but I didn't get last place I got 5th. My time was 1:11 and some miliseconds. I guess it was pretty good seeing how I am out of shape.
In the 200 though man I did good. I got 5th place also but my time was 28.79 This is my time last year from the end of the season, so I am as fast as I was in the end at the start. If I got a better start and ran through the finish I would of gotten a better time, but I am happy with this one.
BUT...... the most exciting thing was I got asked to be in a track club called OC Striders. I was so happy and I know I am going to be dying this Saturday and complaining, but I want to do it. It will make me better and I am going to be with WORLD CHAMPIONS and NATIONAL CHAMPS! I am excited about Saturday!

Ok everyone has to get Skype, it is so cool. Since the beginning of this week I have talked to another girl from South Korea, a girl from Australia and one from Morocco. It's so fun!

Anyways I go back to school Monday. (Yea!) : (

The program Skype is so cool! I already have talked to girls from Poland, Finland, Brazil, South Korea, Lithuania, Egypt and Turkey. I got tons of calls from people who I don't even know. Of couse I didn't answer them!

Anyways I talked to the girl from Poland for about an hour and it was really interesting of how other countries picture California. Most of them said, Hollywood and movie stars.

Later I will go on and see if anyone else is on.
