So I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving! I had a pretty nice one. We went to Uncle Richards house and it was nice. They had 2 turkeys (fried and smoked) and it was pretty good. Siobha had a blast (of course) since it was her ninos house. She would seriously not leave him alone. It was cute though.
So school is going by ok. I am struggling in my math class but I am slowly pulling my grade up. My senior year so far has not been "exciting" as I have been told by many people. I am over the whole highschool ting. Its not fun or intersting anymore. I mean the same things go on everyday. Someone breaks up with someone and they start drama...blah, blah, blah. Its stupid.
So this week we have the family party which I might bring Elizabeth to. Shes been wanting to go actually for quite some time.
Just random stuff or things about school, family, track...basically everything in my life.

Senior Year
This year is my last year of highschool and I am happy that I am finally going to leave Katella. I am looking forward to not being with a bunch of drama and so on. Its going pretty well so far so I am happy right now. My schedule is:
1. AP Biology 2. Finite Mathmatics 3. Economics (2nd semester I have Goverment) 4. AVID Senior Seminar 5. English 4 and 6. Track.
Nice schedule although I dont like having Bio first period, but I have learned to deal with it. Its kinda funny because I have Elizabeth for my first 4 classes then I have her for 6th. So we help each other (yes help not cheat) and walk together to all of our classes. I help her in Econ and she helps me in math.
So I am taking an 7th period class from 2:45 to 5:00 every Tuesday and Thursday. I have to retake English 2 because I got a D in it. It stinks but I am getting used to the class and now it is kind of fun to me.
We had half day today but I did not go because my eyes were swollen, my throat hurt and I couldnt breathe through my nose. I was in pretty bad shape. We dont have school tomorrow so that measn Bradley and I are watching Diego, but that is fun.

End of August to Now...
Wow I haven't been on her in forever. Heres an update:
★August★
-Elizabeth, Portia and I went to Disneyland on the 26th and had lots of fun. Pictures on my Flickr page.
Nothing else happened.
★September★
-School started and my schedule is as follows: AP Biology, Finite Math, Economics/Goverment, AVID Senior Seminar, English 4 and track. Pretty relaxing schedule. I have Elizabeth for my first 4 classes... its pretty crazy.
-I am finally going to do my second year of conformation and classes start in October.
-Siobhan started dance again and is taking both Flamenco and Ballet. SHe looks so cute
_Diego is so adorable (as usual) he got a Spiderman phone on 4th Street and it plays some wierd song (in Chinese I think) and he always tells me to dance to it.
-My Europe trip is setting into play and I am figuring out the details. Anyone wanna go?
-Then the most exciting thing that has happened so far... my brothers Spanish 2 sub has a major in Anthropolgy/Archeology and I went to talk to her about it since that is what I want to major in. She graduated from CSUF and is going to be teaching at FJC soon. So she gave me the email of the undergraduate advisor, Dr. Erickson, so I can have a meeting with her. (YEA) She also gave me the email of the Department Chair of FJC, Karen Markley, so I can meet with her too. Pretty exciting stuff here.
Wow thats really all that has happened. But I will be updating my blog more often now.

We are back!
So we are back from Mexico and I had a lot of fun. We went swimming a lot and I ate so many tacos! They were so good too! Siobhan had a lot of fun and made some new friends and Diego only anted to go in the jacuzzi (or the hot bath) but he finally got used to going in the pool. On my birthday we had lobster and I actually ate 3 halves. I usually only eat two, but I was really hungry.
At the hotel my dad noticed this girl and she was all alone and was walking around a lot and looked very bored. He told me I should talk to her and I was kind of nervous. In the end I talked to her and she lives in Temecula. I gave her my email today before we left the hotel and told her she should email me and she said she would. So I guess I kind of made a friend on this trip.
Wednesday night I wanted to go shopping at the Lobster Village, but my mom and dad weren't going to go so just Bradley and I went and I bought 3 bracelets and got a good deal for them. We had an hour to shop and eat, but that was the only thing I could buy because I had spent 44 dollars earlier on my perfume that I have been wanting for so long. It smells really good. Plus its cheaper than if I bought it here.
That was really all that happened and I had a lot of fun and took pictures. I will post pictures up later. I am going to go to sleep now.

My birthday!
Tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY! In morning we leave for Mexico (which I am excited about) and we are staying until Friday. When we come back I will only have about 2 weeks left of summer vacation. So sad. Oh well though I was getting kind of tired of staying home. Well I guess I am going to turn 17 in an hour. Man I am getting old. I am going to be 17 and a senior. Wow time has gone by.
Oh and I am finally going to finish my Conformation this year, since I was supposed to finish last year, but at least I am finishing right? Well got to finish putting music on my iPod then I am going to sleep.

UCSB Camp Post 1
OK so I am back. I am pretty happy to be home, but I really miss the camp and all of my friends. It was so pretty there and the weather was perfect!
So when I arrived at the train station, a counselor named Diana picked me up and we went to the airport to pick up another girl. When we got to the dorms, I met my new friends Lindsey and Jesse. It ended up that we were actually rooming with each other. Our room had a little living room with a couch and 2 chairs, it also had 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. One room had one bed and the others had 3 beds. There was 6 people in our room plus two commuters during the day. In my room was Lindsey, Laniece and I. In the other was Jesse, Michelle and Gabi. The single was empty.
The first night we had a bonfire with lots of fun games and a chance to get to know everyone, The second night was a game night where we played Amazon Girls, Musical Boys and Frisbee Battle thing. It was a lot of fun. The third night was we got to choose if we wanted to go out to town for ice cream, play soccer or just hang out in the rec room. I chose to go get a smoothie and it was really good (it was banana, pineapple and mango) it was also a good deal. The last night we had another bonfire and then we got to stay up late with free time to hang out with each other because it was our last full day together.
I made a lot of new friends and I still plan to keep in touch with them. My new friends are: Lindsey, Jesse, Amanda, Samantha, Laniece, Aushua, Lauren, Crystal, Vanessa and Shaniece. We hung out all the time, but it was usually Lindsey and I. I also loved the counselors and the coaches. They were all so nice and funny. I really liked the campus too. Its really pretty and its right next to the ocean.
The workouts, man those workouts were the hardest I have ever had, but they are worth it. I can already see that I have lost weight and gained some muscle. The only bad thing that happened to me was I got a minor strain in my right calf, but its not that bad. The coach (Coach Kenyon, but we got to call her Coach JK) were really supportive and the counselor (Diana and Jason) were also very supportive and fun. The practices were hard, but also very fun at the same time. I think they were worth the suffering.
So here was our daily schedule:
7:15 am Wake up
7:30-8:00 am Our morning jog
8:00-9:55 am Time to eat breakfast and free time
10:00-12:00 pm Afternoon Practice
12:00-3:00 pm Lunch and Break
3:00-5:00 pm Late practice
5:00-7:00 pm Dinner and free time
7:00-10:00 pm Night activity and free time
10 pm In rooms
10:30 Lights out
11 pm Had to be asleep
That was our main schedule sometimes it was different it just depended on the day.
I will write more about the fun stuff later. Pictures on my Flickr page

Getting ready...
Ok, so there are a few things I must do before I leave on Sunday. I still need to pack my bag and finish cleaning my room. I already have most of my things ready to be packed, but I still need to see if I am missing anything. I don't think I am though.
So I am very excited to go on this trip. It will be my first time taking the train by myself and it seems very fun. I also explained that I would be gone to Siobhan and she understood it as this, "I am going to be gone until next waterplay (which is Thursday. She also thought I was going to go to college and her eyes got all big like they do when she gets excited. It was funny.

I AM DONE!!!
YES! Summer school is finally over and I can have some extra time at home and finish my painting I have been working on. Man I have to tell you that the computer class I took was really boring, but it really did help me with my homekeys. I am typing way faster now and more accurately.
So yes I will be gone this Sunday to Thursday. I will be in Santa Barbara on their campus and will be having lots of fun! (and hard work) Yes I know you will miss me, but don't worry I will post all about it when I get back and some pictures too.

Me and Paulo
Aquarium of the Pacific
On Monday we went to Long Beach to enjoy a nice lunch and then go to the Aquarium of the Pacific and it was really fun. Of course when we got there the line was really long and it took about 15 minutes to get through. It was really funand Siobhan and Diego had a really good time. Siobhan got freaked out though when we touched the sting rays. She wouldn't even let us touch her with that hand until we washed it. It was funny.
Diego loved the little "Nemos" and "Dories" (haha) and he actually touched things.
Diego touched: sting ray, sea cucumber, starfish, sea slugs and he fed birds.
Siobhan touched: sea cucumber, sea anenome, sea slug, starfish and fed birds.
I touched everything.
Those birds were VICIOUS! I was so scared to touch them because I thought they were trying to bite my finger. What you did was you held out a little bowl of nectar and they eat it. This one bird kept skwaking at me for more. Pretty scary. I didn't like them.
Oh and Siobhan thought jellyfish were cute... yes cute.

Storytime!
Today was my second day at Martinez and I did my first children storytime and yah. . . I was so nervous I don't know why though. I read a total of 4 books and it was pretty fun. 3 english and 1 spanish and I nailed it perfectly. Actually I didn't I messed up on how to say nose, I know it is nariz, but it said another word and I had no idea what it was. The day went really slow we only got 4 families the whole time.

Pando and Me.
My first "job"
Today was my first day at Martinez Book Store and it was fun. I got there and Mr. Martinez was there, he gave me a hug then said "get an apron" and for the girls to show me what to do. So the first thing I did was put up new displays. When I was putting one up a man asked me a question in Spanish. I swear the only word I understood was "libro". I had to get Hilary my boss to answer him. It turned out he was asking me if he could take a book of the display. I had no idea what he said.
Later I got to put price tags and barcode numbers on the new box of books they got. It took a while because I couldn't get the stupid backs off the stickers. While I was doing this a guy came and sat across from me and he began talking to me in a language that I knew was NOT Spanish. I never heard it before. He said he was sorry and that he was talking in Mixtec (Mish-tech) his native language (Its pretty cool). He knows English, Spanish and Mixtec. He said he was a "drifter" and he was talking to me just about random stuff. Then he asked me what my birthday sign was and I told him a Leo and he said "oh from the Gregorian Calendar" he said in his culture I would be a Zapata like he is. He said I am very spiritual. So that was my first day and it was really fun.

Track Banquet 06
My friends Mariana, Laidey, and Laideys friend. Mom and Siobhan had to be in the picture.
Dads Birthday
Dads Birthday desert. Instead of ding dongs he had to settle for this. Personally it was WAY better than a ding dong.

Ana
June.. So far
So I know I haven't written in a while, but I am going to tell you everything that has happened. Well I have mad new friends on skype from Brazil. Ana and Gabi they are mother and daughter. Her mom teaches English in Brazil and has taught me a couple of things in Portuguese.
Eu tebho dezesseis (I am sixteen) quantos anos voce tem? (how old are you?). Eu sou dos estados unidos (I am from the US). De onde voce? (Where are you from?) Eu gosto de pratciar esportes. (I like practicing sports)that's pretty cool, huh?
School is almost over. I only have about 7 school days left and I am getting pretty nervous, not about my grades, but about being a senior. Apparently I am like the only one out of my friends who is seriously nervous abut senior year. College Applications, transcripts, scholarships, financial aid and not forgetting to keep grades up. Pretty nerve racking and its going to be crazy.
We have our track banquet on Tuesday and we stillhaven'tt got all of the coaches gifts. Our freaking varsity team does not want to give us THREE DOLLARS each tohelpp buy them. NO of course they don't, so of couse Kelsey and I have to buy the gifts. I have no idea what to get them, seriouslyy. My loving father has signed me up for a week track camp in July ay UC Santa Barbara. It sounds pretty cool and its going to be a good hard workout.
Yesterday we had a Galaxy game and they lost 1-2. Guess who was sitting behind us? PETER VENEGAS and COBI JONES!! Yes and I smiled at Peter and tried to get Cobis attention but he wouldn't look down. Too bad. We have one on Sunday.

Track is over...
So my track season ended on Thursday. At finals I ran the 4x100, 4x400, 100 and 200. I ran a 13.60 in the 100 and a 28.62 in the 200. Not that good of a race. I had fun though and I am looking forward to next season, hopefully coming back stronger. I am going to be training more often then I was last year for sure. It's going to be pretty busy this summer. I am going to be volunteering at Martinez Book Shop, hopefully taking salsa lessons with my friend Elizabeth, working out and going to summer school to take computers. I am so mad about that because my freshman year they told me I didn't have to take it and now I have to take it in order to graduate. What a pain.
Yes so that is all that really happened. Nothing else exciting. Oh I am taking the SATs on June 3rd (dads b day) so I am begining to study for those.

Wow, I realized I havn't been keeping up with my blog. Well here is all thats happened and what is going to happen.
TRACK
Well we have had 4 track meets Valenica (won), Cypress (lost), Kennedy (lost) and Loara (won). We have Orange Lutheran next week and its going to be pretty interesting.
SCHOOL
I finally have good grades!! Yes and I do have a B in chemistry and ALGEBRA 2. Yeah for me! haha I don't think I have had a good math grade like that in a while. I also have 2 As and 2 Cs (boo) but will be up soon. I am on a role!
FAMILY
Yes we do have spring break next week and we are going to Mexico for a couple days. Time to get outside and maybe go skimboarding. Looking forward to having some beach fun and shopping (favorite part).
COLLEGE
I have been getting various things from colleges, but nothing big yet. I have narrowd my choices down to: UCLA (of course), UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz and Fresno State. RIght now I am not sure, but that is what I have.
Well that is all for updates exept for there is this really funny show called "Little Britian" on BBC Fridays at 10:30. It is hilarious. Way funnier than Mad TV and SNL. Actually funnier in a clean way.

Katella Results
Yesterday was Katella Relays and it was a really good meet. We got 1st place in the 4x1 because I brought us up from 2nd to last and then was tied with the 1st place team and then Kelsey kept the lead. It was a really good race and we are the first team to win 1st in like 5 years. In the 4x2 we got third which was not that bad since we had 2 sophmores. I was the anchor and was mad becasue I didn't catch the 2nd place girl. She had too big of a lead on me. The sprint medley we would have gotten 2nd but our 800 runnner got passed in the last 60 meters so we got 4th instead. It was a good meet and we had fun.
This Thursday we have one against Valencia at Valencia HS.

Katella Relays 1
Sorry it took me so long to write a new post. Irvine was canceled for whoever knows what, so we got there then turned around and went back home.
Tomorrow is Katella Realys at Hunington Beach HS and I am looking forward to it. I run in 4 races (4x1, 4x2, 4x4 and sprint medley). No field events, just running. Todays frosh/soph fiels events were cancelled at our school due to rain.
I am mad because my dad says I have to go to sleep at 9:30 in order to wake up at 5:25am. I have to be at school by 6:15 and bus leaves at 6:30. Early, I know. Bradley is lucky because it takes him 5 minutes to get ready. Well I have to make my lunch for tomorrow because I am going to be gone all day. hooray! : /

Just track...
This past week has been very crazy. I have been running 100s and getting watched to see if I was going to be on the relay. I got a 12.83 which is so good for me because I finally broke 13 seconds. Tomorrow I am in an all comers meet and I will be running the 100, 200, 400 ( die trying) and the long jump. See if I have improved in my fitness level at all in the 400.
I know that there are people looking at my blog, nut PLEASE leave comments. I check everyday and I have none. So that is all and I will post the results online tomorrow (no matter how bad).

I feel great...
Today at practice I ran two 100s one 200 and 400. When I ran the 200 and I felt good! The coach told me that I looked really good and that it was my best 200 in a long time. I was tired on the 400 because I had already ran those and I was the only person actually RUNNING them not just jogging it like most of the girls were. I think they should of done the whole workout again for not doing it right.
OH! I saw that I did not write about my Christmas. It was really fun and both of my grandma came over, Lauren and Gabi were all here to celebrate with us. I got a lot of shirts (including a UCLA track and field shirt), gift cards/money, a cookbook (love it) and a...brand...new...iPod NANO! I was so happy because I wasn't expecting one. It was engraved on the back and it says, "This is your LAST one! We love you Mom and Dad" It was the greatest gift and I am not taking it out until I get a case for it.

YEAH!!!!!
Track is going well. My dad and I went to the track on Monday and I did pretty well. My dad was worried about my hip and every lap I did he would ask me if it felt fine. O f course it did.
We went to Physical therapy on Thursday and she said I do not have ARTHRITIS!!! YEAH!! She said she does not know what that doctor was talking about. The actual problem is that my hip muscle is weak and that is what is causing it to hurt when I do continuous running. So I have to do all these weight exercises and stretches every night.
Hopefully we go to the track tomorrow and go to the running store.
