Overview of My Trip in San Francisco

Well San Francisco was an awesome trip. Heres a little overview of what I did.

WEDNESDAY-- We left super early, 6:15 AM, to get to Long Beach Airport and then our flight was 45 minutes late. When we got to San Francisco and we were getting ready to land my head felt like it was going to explode! It hurt so bad. We took Jet Blue and it was pretty nice. I watched some TV and listened to Sirius music channels also. We took the BART, which I am now a professional at...a BART Pro to be exact, and when we got to downtown San Francisco we went to check into our little hotel, which I thought was cute because it was vintage and old, then we went to Lefty O'Douls to eat lunch. For the rest of the time we went to MacWorld got tons of free stuff, dad won an iPod Nano (whatever) and meet iJustine. Then back to Leftys for dinner where I got a big and i mean BIG enchilada with rice, bread and a slice of pie...and yes I did eat all of it and enjoyed it tremendously. After we went back to the hotel where I watched Animal Planet (watched all the time) and slept.

THURSDAY-- Skipped breakfast and took the trolley (super cool) to Fisherman's Wharf where we ate the best clam chowder in a bread bowl ever! It was so amazing and I love it! I almost got attacked by a giant seagull that wasn't even scared when I kicked my leg out, of course I wasn't actually going to kick it but I just wanted to scare it. THen we went into the Museum Mecanique which was cool. It had old game machines you could try and some was pretty funny. Then we went back to Macworld to go on the other side, but after we were done my dad stayed at Macworld and I went exploring of the city. I went into tons of shops. I went into Barneys and oh my gosh talk about feeling like you don't belong. I DID! It was terrible. They weren't mean but they just looked at me weird. Heres a list of some shops I went into Barneys, NikeTown (don't sell track spikes...whatever), Old Navy (biggest on West Coast), Levis (3 floors), Rasputin Music Store (5 floors of AWESOMENESS!) Macys (HUGE...5 big floors...it was crazy) Virgin Megastore (bought 2 shirts and apparently they have the biggest DVD selection on the West Coast) and I don't remember where else. Then I took a solo taxi ride to a thrift store I had read about but it was disappointing. Not as great as yelpers said it was. Then we had dinner at Loris 50s diner where I had fired chicken, cole slaw, fries and a strawberry malt which was so good!

FRIDAY-- Went straight to ChinaTown after we check out and had some great Dim Sum and did a little shopping for the kids and mom then went back to Market to go to the airport. Shorty and sad day. Already miss San Francisco and the weather.

Tomorrow is the big day!

We leave for San Francisco tomorrow morning and I am so excited. I am looking forward to it and I am so excited about going to Haight/Ashbury. I am in for some cool vintage shopping...hopefully cheap too! Going to get some things for my friends there too if they are in my budget. I think it is going to be a lot of fun though. I already have my bag all packed and my clothes for tomorrow laid out. I am ready to go! My dad on the other hand hasn't even packed or anything. I know.

Well I might blog from Macworld. It depends on if the lines are long and if they still have those computers. I haven't been in a while so I am not sure. We are leaving home at 6 or something. Our flight leaves at 9 something from Long Beach so we have to make sure to get there with enough time to go through the crazy security!

Man I have been in a Bad Religion mood for a couple days now and now I want to go to a concert. Not necessarily Bad Religion (but it would be better if it was) but anyone who's ticket prices are reasonable. I think I am going to look at House of Blues right now. Man that Bad Religion concert was so much fun too! Ahhh...memories.

Well San Francisco in less than a week. Planned where I wanted to go but then I found out the thrift stores are on the other side of the 101 freeway, which apparently isn't a good area to be going alone. So I am going to have to cross out the thrift stores. Its ok though because I want to go to this boutique thats on Haight Street and my dad says they sell alot of hippie things there which I am looking for so I am set. I guess I will just have more time in China Town and MacWorld.

Then school starts. I am actually not dreading the start of school. I have a pretty good schedule this semester. No track so its going to be weird for them having meets and I won't be competing. I still plan to go watch though. See how they do. I am probably going to red shirt so I have to find out all the rules and stuff because I talked to my dad about it and we have totally different views of what we think red shirting is. So I must make sure.

I have been cleaning the garage. Well one side anyways so that we can move the Nova out of the garage. Man do we have alot of junk in there. I am almost done, only been working on it for two days, on the worst side. THe other side wont take long, but then I have to clean on top and inside the car. Oh well at least I am working for my future car. I already got a hula girl for the dash. Oh yah I have it all planned out. Surf and beach thats the theme.

The end of 2008...

brings both sadness and joy... mostly joy though.

Well 08 was a good year for me. Did well in school and my first year of track, did lots of campaigning for Obama and he won!So I am looking forward to another year and I am going to make the best out of it for sure. Here are my goals for 2009:

1. Get more involved with Church and stuff
2. Do well in school even more
3. Still practice track... even though I am red shirting
4. Get all my units done so I can transfer after this fall
5. Take a trip with friends in the summer... probably camping

I am in pain. Period.

I have what has to be the worlds largest canker sore in my mouth. It is seriously triple the size that I usually get them and I have already had it for a week already. It hurts so bad and it is hard to eat. Plus I can't even sleep because it wakes me up with the pain bulging out of the side of my face. My parents find it amusing and laugh when I eat but its fine they will regret it when the whole side of my right face is swollen or it takes over my mouth and I can't breathe and have to be put on oxygen!!

So tomorrow my moms friends son is staying with us and we are going to go see Beverly Hills Chihuahua, which the kids have been talking about for a long time. I am looking forward to seeing it because it looks funny and I wanted to see it when it came out. I am going to take the kids to go see Tale of Despereaux maybe this week or I might wait until I come back from San Francisco.

While on the subject of San Francisco i have already finished my packing list and my daily schedule. Here is a little preview:

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Well we finished our gifts. I think this year I gave the best gifts ever. I got an iPod! A green nano and it is so cute! I love it. I also got some sweaters to take to San Francisco and PJ's! I am so happy...plus Grandma Sue gave me some money which means ka-ching money for the trip!

I can't wait to eat the "Christmas lasagna" as my mom calls it. I love lasagna.

Well Christmas is tomorrow! Seems like this month went by really fast. School ended, last day of official track practice (redshirting this season) and now tomorrow is Christmas. I finished my shopping (bargain shopping of course) on Saturday with my grandma. It was fun.

Siobhan is sad because she didn't get me anything and I got her some stuff. I feel kind of bad because I was joking around with her because she didn't get me anything. I told her I wanted a puppy. haha

So San Francisco...aka Macworld 09...coming soon. Already making my daily schedule so I can get everything I want to do or see done. I am so ready for this trip.

Update on my life...

November...

After working my butt off campaigning for Obama...He won! I was so happy and I got to go to the Obama Orange County Democrats Election night party! It was so much fun and there are photos from it on my flickr...will post video later!

School is finally almost over. Had 2 finals today and my last 2 are on Thursday! Then I have almost a full month out of school. I am going to go to San Francisco in January for Macworld with my dad and am very excited about that.

Football game...

today was awful! Both UCLA and my schools. UCLA, no comment there and my school played like them tonight...fumbles and quarterback throwing it to the other team. It was AWFUL!

Phone bank was fun today! THere were about 15 to 20 people there and we were calling people from New Mexico. After we got done with those we called democrats in Orange County that had signed up on Baracks website and ask them if they wanted to volunteer. It was really fun though and I would definitely do it again.

BUT I am hoping this time next week I will be in Nevada canvassing for Obama. I sent in my information sheet to the Young Democrats and hopefully will receive something soon. It is Friday to Sunday. Seems pretty fun! :)

Yay Galaxy...boo UCLA

So last night we went to the Galaxy game and it was awesome! THey did really well for having their losing streak last so long. Donovan had a hat trick...good for him. Buddle had nothing...but its ok.

So last week of school was alright. Not too busy and wasn't being torn apart in counsel...so it was good. This week though I am not sure. As of already being in trouble for not attending the first home game for football the big B is putting all this pressure on me for this weekends game. As if I really even do anything there. I just have to get the total number of people who attend the game and do little things. I couldn't make the first game because of a previous commitment, but since she was so mad it really didn't matter. We have a game this Saturday at 6 PM and yes I am going and Danielle is coming along with me and Portia might meet us there when she gets off work. Big deal if I miss the first game.

Track is going well. Going to start high jump and throwing this week. Excited to the max. A little scared about high jump but still looking forward to it. We have our lazer tag fun day on Friday at 6. Good turn in so far. I was surprised.

Interesting week...

So school went fine as usual. Classes still enjoyable, but this week I was really tired. I almost fell asleep in my sociology class yesterday because I was so tired.

So I am getting the idea from my coach that I am captain of the track team this season. I hope I am I mean I am already planning a get to know each other night at Camelot and we are going to play Lazer tag! I was actually surprised to see how many people were excited about going. So I am pretty happy with my choice to do that.

Going to start working on my 2nd podcast later tonight. Sunday Portia and I might go to Mainplace see a little movie and just hang out.

Yay me!

Yesterday I got two free tickets to see Lost 80's night at HOB Anaheim. It was fun. Portia and I went and had a blast! We got them from my twitter contact Rock Da Mullet. Pretty cool huh?

SO today I went to Cafe Contigo and surprisingly got alot of homework done. THere was a domino tourney there today so I had to sit in the back room, but it was ok. I didn't really mind. I got a coffee and was just relaxing doing my homework. No little brothers or sisters yelling and being loud. It was a nice change. I think I am going to do it more often.

Well no school Monday. Happy about that. Tons of homework due on Wednesday and I have 2 quizzes also. I am not even worried though.

School...

is driving me crazy already! I have already had so many assignments and I have been busy with cross country/track and I have been tired (mentally and physically) and sore.

Cafe Contigo...

I am here at Cafe Contigo and I am waiting for Portia to arrive. Going to get some GOOD coffee...unlike Starbucks haha and there is a band performing tonight at 8 a flamenco band and I am looking forward to hearing them. It only took me about 10 minutes to get here, but it felt faster because I was flying...like Olympic or Tour de France fast and I was on a roll! It was fun. I am a little sweaty though...its a workout. Well going to enjoy my time here. Will post pics of band later.

Wow heres an update...

So my birthday did pass last Friday and it was super fun! Portia, Danielle and I went to the House of Blues to see a great Tribute band to U2. They were awesome and the concert was so fun. Portia and I were dancing the whole time. It was hotter than the desert in there though and we went to get some water and it was FREE! I was surprised because I didn't think it would be free especially at the House of Blues. We each got like 4 glasses. It was some good water.

Now I am 19...so old. Not really still younger than most of my friends in my class at school. They are almost 20 years old and one is 23. Yes I know.

I got my schedule today. Anthropology and Philosophy on Mondays/Wednesdays and English, Photography and Sociology on Tuesdays/Wednesdays. No school on Fridays of course. Pretty busy schedule and I have meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays at sometime for Athletics Commissioner...yes that is me! :)

So school starts on Monday. I am looking forward to it. Interesting classes and excited about our new coach who is coolio!

Interesting day!

So yesterday I was cleaning out my turtles home and I left them on the kitchen counter so that they could get a little more sun and some fresh air. When my dad told me to put them back he had written SUSHI FOR SALE with 2 arrows pointing to my turtles. You know what? It won't come off too! So now I have a cage with big old red sharpie letters saying that pointing to my poor babies. Its so sad.

So today I got sworn in for commissioner and it was pretty cool. The whole college board was there and they were telling me what i have to do and the rules. Pretty much the same rules as Senate which I can handle and the responsibilities I can handle also. I was so excited and nervous though that I would trip or something when they called my name. I can totally picture myself doing that.

Today at practice was H-A-R-D! We had 2 300s 1 150 and stride 100. It was pretty hot today and after the 150 and the 1st 300 I wasn't feeling so well. Then after the last 300 I finally did it! Threw up...gross I know but you don't understand. I was the only one on the team last year who never threw up at any practice.

Ah the Olympics start on Friday and I am pretty excited. I might be going to HOB to see a U2 Tribute band with Portia and Danielle. It will be pretty cool! I am excited plus its only 10 bucks!

So today Bradley and I had to watch the kids and for some unknown reason, Siobhan especially was being an extra bratty today. I don't know what was with her today, but she had a bad seed in her today. Diego was fine but her...oh my gosh!

We started watching Sound of Music today. We only watched half though. You know little kids and 2 hour movies don't get along well. We also had The Hat for dinner and oh goodness those sandwiches are humongous. I only ate half and I was so stuffed! It was pretty good though.

Well I start school in 2 weeks. Kind of excited but I still want to go to the beach next week. Maybe Ill go on my bday if Portia doesn't work. That would be cool.

So I was a little bored earlier and had nothing to do so I drew. I came up with these 2 drawings. I like drawing crosses. I don't know why, but I just do.

Well today I had a great practice. Did some sprints/distance. Coach J wants me to go tomorrow also but I have to see what we have going on. He wants to work on a little hurdle tomorrow but I don't know. My mom wants me to go because she wants me to get the printout of my classes for her. Next semester taking: Sociology 101, Philosophy 101, Photo, English Writing, and 3 track classes. It's a pretty busy load but I can handle it.

Today I scanned some old pictures of my 1st Communion and our family hiking trip. They are so adorable. My 1st communion ones I don't even remember some of my classmates names. We need a reunion. Bradley is already having a reunion for Holy Family and they haven't even graduated HS yet. St. Norbert's should have one.

Portia still wants to go on a beach trip next Tuesday. I said lets go for my bday on Friday but shes not sure because she might have to work...boo!

wow...

the earthquake today was CRAZY!!! I was standing in our dining room because Nacho was acting weird and I thought he wanted to go to the bathroom and as soon as I let him out the house ground started shaking and then swaying and I was like ooohh man! Stuff was falling down and the pictures were all crooked. We only had one thing break out of everything in our house which I thought was pretty good since we have alot of breakables. Then I went in my room...oh my goodness. My whole bookshelf had been emptied. I had to put everything back.

So today we watched this movie. Green Street Hooligans was what it was called. It was a good movie. I really liked it. Elijah Wood has some blue eyes though.

Tomorrow I have counselor meeting tomorrow. Final changes to my major. Finally going to get that done. Cross it off my list. Portia finally talked to her mom about our San Diego trip and her mom said her dad has to talk to my dad. I don't think its going to happen when we planned it though. We wanted to go next Tuesday but I don't think that is going to happen.

So practice yesterday...OMG! It was pretty hard. Sprinting is soooo much fun and I missed it for sure. I did 2 100s yesterday with many other thing s and I got 12.6 and 12.8 not to bad with no blocks and I slowed down at the end too. Tomorrow I have 300, 200, 150 and 2x100s. Got to get mentally ready for that one lol haven't ran a 300 in a LONG time!

My birthday is next week! I am going to finally be 19 lol all my friends have been 19 for a while now and I am finally going to be 19. My last teen year! Scary! My birthday means THE OLYMPICS! So excited to watch it!

We finally have a name!

The dogs name is Nacho lol. Its so cute and he already knows it a little. He is so adorable and I like him so much!

New Puppy!

We got a new puppy 2 days ago. We got him from a couple that we know that works at Cafe Contigo. He is so cute. 5 months and hes a "blue" applehead Chihuahua. A rare kind I guess. His name was Chiwi but we are going to change it. We don't know what we are going to name him yet.

So far we have:
*Bruno
*Pico (me)
and others I don't remember.

So I am finally going to have my major finally changed. I have to talk to my counselor next week and then it will be done. School starts in less than a month and I register for my classes tomorrow. I am pretty excited about this semester. Interesting new classes that I have no idea what they are about, but have people that have taken them or know them to help me.

We had a track meeting on Wednesday and we already have a fundraiser on Sunday...pretty soon huh? Well we are going to Universal Studios for the show "Moment of Truth". Never saw it, but some people said its a good show. Its going to be all day Sunday. We leave school at 9:30 AM then are supposed to be back at 6 PM. Not sure yet if I am going to go. Have to get the parents permission first.

Thats really all that has happened this week. So looking forward to Saturday, Siobhan's soccer teams last game. See how they do.

Last day...

Right now we are in the lobby waiting for Ximena and family to meet us for some breakfast. Its our last day and I think we are just going to eat, maybe swim a little and then go. Siobhan has a game tonight at 6:30 so I think we are going to try to make that. She also has one tomorrow night. Her season is almost over.

Right now we just finished breakfast and I am out on the balcony/porch where Siobhan and Ximena are playing soccer with a Hello Kitty beach ball. They are so cute together and they have alot of fun even though they don't understand each other. Its cute. I am so full right now. I just ate a big bowl of fruit and I am pretty full. I dont want to come home but mom has to work tomorrow and I am going to have to register for school soon. I just keep looking at the beach and its so beautiful. I could look at it all day unlike Huntington Beach which has those big oil rigs out on it. There are also some big old pelicans here. A bunch and they are so big. They fly over and I didn't know that they were so big. They are cool though when they fly into the water.

Fun Day!!

Today we went to Rosarito and did some shopping there. I got some stuff to sell when I get back to Cali and hopefully will make some money off of them and if not they will either make good christmas presents or look good in my room lol. I also go this new necklace. pic above....love it! Only 1.95 too! Right now I am by the pool. My little brother and sister are still swimming. Siobhan hasnt gotten out yet only to go to the bathroom and Diego has taken breaks. They have been in thier for like 3 hours I think. I am a little hungry right now. and i really want to buy some chile covered mango slices down at the cnter but i spent all my money in ROsartio today. I might ask my dad if I can borrow a couple bucks. My computer is dying so I am going to have to go charge it. i might go to the lobby later to hang out.

Second day...

Today we swam for a long time then went back to the shopping center but no luck finding anything.

First day...

Today we arrived in Mexico...finally! At last we have finally made it and guess what we had for lunch/dinner? LOBSTER! It was so good. I ate about 4 of them and I was about to burst. We met up with Ximena and her family. The new baby was here too, andrea, she is so cute. They came to the hotel with us and they went swimming with the kids for a while. I did too for a while but it was pretty cold so I worked on my tan for a bit. Bradley and I went to do a little shopping in the lobster village and I got two pictures (Bob Marley and Frida Kahlo).

Last full day...

in the USA. Tomorrow we leave for the motherland...Mexico! lol I am so excited. We haven't been in a long time and I am looking forward to the smell of the fishy air (which some people find nasty, but I like it) and of course the food! Tacos...tortas...lobster...yuumm I am hungry now. I have to finish packing tonight but i am already almost done. Shopping...how exciting...love shopping there. I am looking for necklace, rings (of course) and maybe some earrings. I am also going to look for a big bag (big enough for my school books too).


Playing the Wii now. I have already played 3 games so far. Its hot in here too. Will post from Mexico. The hotel got Wi-fi so now I can go out by the pool and do stuff out there.

Man...

I am pretty mad right now. I went for a long run a while ago and I ran to the park around the back part 2 times then sprinted the length of the field 3 times and then jogged back. Then my neck starts itching like crazy and what do I get? HIVES!! All over my neck and arms and my eyes are swollen. Ahh!! I feel like I am dying for real. Never again will I do that run. Ever!

So first week of practice is done. My coach was really impressed I came lol. I went Monday because it was the first day and I ran tons! I was pretty sore on Tuesday. Then Tuesday I went did some long jump, sprints and went over one hurdle and my hips were hurting! I plan to miss next week because of Mexico trip this week...so happy about that! Then the next week I think I am going to go Wednesday and Thursdays now so I can get distance in on Wednesdays and sprints Thursday. I want to be able to just stay at home Monday and Tuesday instead of going out and killing myself.

Going to go and watch Hollyoaks now. I am catching in on my episodes. :) best show

Excited...

about going to Mexico next week. We haven't been in so long and I miss it down there. We are staying at the hotel instead of a house but that is alright as long as we go. I can finally get my new jewelry lol the best place to get it from. I am also going to look for something that I can sell online to make a little cash.

Maybe get a bag if they have some nice ones. Big one I can use for school too.

So sad...

my class is officially over. We had our last day this week and now I have no class except track practice. Well last night went to the galaxy game. They lost. The referee was totally on DC's side. The firework show was great as always.

We are leaving to Mexico in a week and I am so excited! I actually have to keep up on my workouts though because right now I am in pretty good shape for off season and after this week of doing school workouts I should be in pretty good shape. This week I am going Monday because it is first day of practice and I am doing a track workout. I found out that our warm up is now 1.8 miles. We used to do that run for a workout and now it is our warm up and cool down. That doesn't include what it seems like is an hours worth of drills, but oh well I guess thats what you have to do for your sport. Then Thursday I am going in the morning for the long distance workout.

Hopefully somewhere between Monday and Friday Portia and I will go on another beach trip. I really want to go to the beach and its been good weather so far.

Almost Done!

My speech class is almost over. This is our last week and it is kind of sad. I really like this class and the professor and everything, but it has to end so I am kind of happy. I really only get a couple of days off before practice officially begins. It starts next Monday. I want to know who is going to be captain.

Well I am pretty excited about MEXICO! In a couple of weeks. We have not been for what seems like forever and I miss it. Tacos...tortas...lobster...tortillas and of course...the shopping! I need to restock on my jewelry. :) lol

So need to recheck my last speech for tomorrow and then we just have our final and then we are done!

Summer school so far...

has been awesome! I love my speech class its the best class ever! Its better than my anthro classes any day! :) lol but I am doing really well and my speaking in front of crowds has improved a lot. I have a speech tomorrow about how I am for stem cell research. Its going to be good. WE have our last speech next week then the week after we are done. Its going to be sad. I really like that class and the students in it. We have bonded a lot. Maybe because we are together 3 hours a day 4 times a week. lol

SO my class is almost over and that means track is almost here. We start on the 7th and I am looking forward to it because I am excited about starting training for the heptathlon. :) eeeehh I am so happy I finally get to do it!

Sad day...

I did not get into the environmental science course. Even though there were seats he said he was too full. THen I went to a pilates class and that was full. I am going to try to get into yoga tomorrow, but it was pretty full also. I guess I am going to have to wait until my anthro class I want to take.

So far not good experiences with summer school. Not impressed.

I am deciding to run for Athletic Commissioner of our school. I mean I might as well. I go to sporting events and I might as well be publicizing the teams and at least getting something out of going to the games other than for entertainment. The only thing I would have to go to almost all of the games...really just the home ones, but that could end up being alot. I still want it though.

Summer school...

so far has been great. I started my Speech class last week and already had a speech today on the word megalomania and I got an A. I am working on my informative speech right now. I am doing it on Scott McClellans book about Bush and the White House. Its actually really interesting. I am going to try to petition an Earth Science Biology class tomorrow. Its pretty interesting. Since my mom took the liberty of planning the summer without me, even though my classes end early July, I am deciding whether to take an Anthro class offered this summer in July or not. I have not decided yet what I am going to do. I really want to take it though so I might do it. It will also let me not kill myself this fall and spring trying to fit all my classes in so I can transfer.

So yesterday Portia and I took a road trip to the beach and we had so much fun! We got sunburnt on our backs because we didn't bring sunscreen. Our fault but now we know. :) lol We might have a bonfire next friday with a couple friends at Huntington Beach. We are going to go early to surf then we are going to stake out our spot. Hopefully her mom will let her go.

Well I'm going to go to bed because I could not wake up this morning for anything in the world.

Semester Over!

So I’ve been catching up on my Hollyoaks episodes on BBC Americas site and I can’t believe I missed a whole season. Its such a good show and there is a new one on the site everyday so I can catch up since we don’t get it on TV.

Summer school starts this Tuesday. Not so happy but I have to do it so I might as well not complain about it. I also had a coaches meeting last Wednesday and I am officially doing the heptathalon! I am so excited to get started on the new events this summer.

Wow I only had two days of vacation...great.

School is...

practically over. My last week this week then I start summer school on the 27th.

So track practice starts up again on July 7th and we are going to be working on the new events for HEPTATHLON! I am pretty excited because I have always wanted to do it. I am also going to be working out again with the Striders on Mondays so that will be good. I plan to come back next year ready to be number one baby! :)

So summer is pretty much sumer school until July 2nd, hopefully fit some Mexico in there and take a trip with Portia to San Diego in August. Only if her mom lets her go then we have to get some money to stay somewhere. BUT I hope we do because it will be our first away from home time and pretty exciting since Portia has done nothing in her freaking life. lol

Tomorrow...

is SOCAL PRELIMS! I am pretty excited even though I might not run. I am going to be there forever and luckily my friend Alyssa is taking the trip down there with me so I can have some company :) Hopefully it wont be hotter than heck, but it is Bakersfield. lol

Next week we start training for Heptathlon! I am so excited I start throwing next week :) yeah!!! I don't think we have weight room until summer, which is good cause I don't really want to do that right now. Just track then go home

So my tattoo is almost fully healed just a couple of edges aren't fully healed.

I got inked!

I finally got my tattoo! Its my own design so no one has it. It didn't even hurt at all. It hurt for a little when he started and we got to the edge of my shoulder blade, but it hurt more when he was done than when I was getting it done. It actually felt good after a while and I was falling asleep. :)

So...

the season is coming to a close. Long season 4 months compared to 2 months in high school. I have had a meet every week and my body is tired. Not used to this much work. I am pretty disappointed because I found out that next year we have to use Fullerton High Schools track for the WHOLE year! I am so mad because they said it was going to be done by next season. I guess now they are moving the track to a different spot at school. I don't know where but coach says they are. So now I went from a nasty dirt track to a nasty artificial track only to go back to another dirt track! Crazy I know.

This summer I plan on doing cross country and then Striders on the weekends. I am planning to come back next year looking strong and good. So I can have a freaking good sophmore year.

Garden ready for planting

So today we hired a guy from Home Depot to help clean out my future garden and OMG he did such a good job. He dug it up about 2 feet and took all the bricks and everything out. My garden is going to be big and beautiful. I can’t wait to get started. This next week im going to finish out the layout plan.

Man on the way to Riverside one of the girls played Miley Cyrus or Hannah Montana and now one of the songs is stuck in my head. Like I actually liked it. I was kind of wielded out. Tons of girls though are like obsessed with her and I’m like isn’t she for kids and not for college students, but whatever and now I like one of her songs. I am kind of ashamed actually. It could just be that they played it about 20 times and I now know the words.

UCLA wins again!

Todays game was so easy for them. It was like they didn't really have to try to win. Russell did well of course and so did Darren and Luc Richard. Josh on the other hand wasn't at the top of his game. He kept leaving the man he was supposed to be blocking and he kept scoring. He needs to get his attitude straightened for the final four game if they want to go to the Championship game and win.

So long to get to Riverside College. Then it got pretty hot at like 11 in the morning. I was there from about 11 to 8:30 PM. It was so long. I ran at 5:20 and 7:10. When I ran at 7 it was so dark and the curves don't have lights, so it was pretty dark when we started off and then we were blinded by the lights. It was a nice meet though.

Next meet is on Friday at OCC and its our last one. Then its to Conference.

Best week EVER!!

Wow so this week was totally awesome. Got my drivers permit, saw UCLA, did well in my meet on Thursday and saw Russell in the flesh!

On Wednesday my dad and I went to the Honda Center for UCLAs open practice. We sat in the very very front and I saw all of my boys up close. Man they are freaking tall as heck but they have skinny legs. Russell and I made eye contact like 5 times and then I had him sign my sweatshirt...wow that made my month. He is so cute and really nice too! Darren Collison also signed my sweatshirt and he was cool too.

Spring Break is over. Nice break with track practice every morning and then a track meet on Thursday. I got 3 days off which is good...the weekend lol. Back to school manana and homework and such now. Oh well.

San Diego...

was alot of fun. The competition was amazing and it felt so good racing against uni girls. There were a couple out of state schools and some of them were pretty good. For our 4x100 we raced against UCSD, SDSU, an Unattached team, Riverside and Southern Utah and Cal State San Marcos, so we had pretty good competition. I also met Monique Henderson yesterday! It was so cool. I heard them announce her name over the speakers and I was like NO WAY!! Then I went over and took a picture with her and we talked for a while about track and school. She was so sweet. I called my dad right after because I was so excited. I was pretty nervous too. I was shaking when I shook her hand. It was a good day.

Afterwards we went out to dinner at Chevys and it was nice going to dinner with the team and the coaches.

This week is spring break and also we have Golden West on Thursday. Supposed to be another easy meet before Riverside and OCC 2 weeks after that.

Track meet tomorrow

Even though I am not fully well I am looking forward to tomorrow. Today I ran on my foot and it hurt alot but I did ok when I just ran on it once. I don't know how I am going to run all four of my events but I want to do the relays for sure because I don't want to let my team down.

I will post when we win tomorrow so everyone can see how we did. I got all my stuff ready and I am going to sleep early to get a nice rest before tomorrow.

Sooo...

we had our meet last Friday and we did pretty good in the 4x100, but my 400...wow...thats all that can describe it. I did terrible. My coach said I did well for missing 2 weeks of practice. At least I didnt pull out or give up. I pushed until the end.

I was looking forward to our meet on Friday and now I am not so sure. My metatarsals are hurting so bad. I can barely walk on them and my running is fine as long as it is not passed a 300. I dont know how I am going to be able to run the 400 on friday. Im pretty nervous because it hurt alot today. My coach will probably give me tomorrow off to rest so hopefully i will come back on Friday ready to push through it.

Meet on Sat!!!!!!

So I have my first official I am running meet on Saturday. Its at Cerritos College and its an invitational. I am running the 4x100 relay (3rd leg!) and the 400. I was supposed to run the 200 also but I am not because I have been out for 2 weeks and I think I am going to die on the 400 alone. So I am just looking for the 400.

I Voted!

Today was my first voting experience. We got there and I said, "Krystal Hadley"and they couldn't find me so they gave me a provisional ballot to fill out. Then my dad saw my name. It was under Jasso. So I got my number and I voted. I had to ask my mom for help because I didn't know what all the little sections were. I saw my ballot before I casted it and it was PER-FECT-O!

It was pretty cool. I don't know why people don't vote. Its so easy.

Being sick...STINKS!

so I have been awake since 6 and I can't fall back asleep. Man my throat is worse then ever. I've been sick for the past 3 days and I think its getting worse. Now I have this headache thats coming. My coach said it was probably the flu. Boo! I haven't worked out in 3 days and I need to! I was doing so well. Yesterday I was going to run but my dad told me not to and I'm glad I didnt. Siobhan and I went over to Nanas house to get her mail and I was so tired and out of breath. I hope I'll feel better next week to run. If I feel the same my coach will not let me work out.

Siobhan started dance again today. She pretty happy. I am very excited to go back to school on Monday. I have been lockedup in this house too long babysitting. Lol

Christmas and such...

So...

Christmas was fun. Both of my grandmas were present. We picked up Nana at the center and brought her over. She stayed the whole day. Grandma Sue and Andy came over in the morning to see us open all of our gifts and then Uncle Mark and Tyler came over later. Tyler is so cute and so big now! He's trying to talk now and he's walking really well. Grow up so fast...lol. Siobhans nino Richard and Julie came over Christmas Eve and of course...Siobhan was attached to him. Shes so funny with him. I got some pretty stuff. Some pajamas (much needed), money, gift card to Target and duh duh... an iPod touch! I was sooo happy. I started crying. My brother got one too. Siobhan has my nano now and Diego gets Siobhans shuffle. So now the whole family officially has their own iPods.

Practice started last Wednesday. Right after Christmas. It was good getting back and working out on the track. I finally met Simone the 2nd in state last year and shes cool. I'm looking forward to meeting the rest of the girls who are on the relay with me. I have practice tomorrow also. I might ride my bike there if I am not too tired or I just might take the bus. Probably ride there.

New Years is coming up. Going to do my last post of 07 and list the best things of the year. Can't believe its going to be 2008 already. Dang time flies.

Oh and my last post was from my touch. It was pretty cool. I have gotten used to typing on it now.

attention all track athletes

Track athletes if you are interested in coming and running for the Fullerton hornets in the next two years then it would be a good time to come and meet the coaches and see what kinds of workouts we do. The hornet track team is having open practices for all future athletes starting January 1st to the 10th every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Its a good chance to see the team in action and meet the team.

Just come on out and get a college workout. Its not a competition just show your strength.

School is OVER!

Yes...today was my last day. I was there all day and it wasn't fun at all. I am kind of happy that I have a break though. It is way harder then highschool and I am happy that we only have to go for a semester then we get a break.

I was sick yesterday and the day before. Food poisening...nasty.

So nothing really to do this week. Tomorrow taking Diego to the park if its not raining. Friday is the A.S. Xmas party. I am not sure if I am going yet. Thats really all to do.

I don't have practice until the 26th but I havent been running because I was taking a break then I got sick. I am going to start tomorrow if I can. I tried running today and it hurt my stomach so bad. I feel alot better now though.

So...

tommorrow Siobhan has her school performance and I can't wait to see it.

It looks as if I am not going to have practice until the 26th. I will have my schedule soon and when i do i will put the dates up. Oh and also yesterday we didnt even play freeze tag we ran. I was disappointed but i got over it.

I had my anthro final today and I think I did pretty well on it. It took me almost the whole time because I had to perfect my essay.

Today...

we had our final for our track class and it was a 400 timed. I got a 62 (p.r.) My coach was really happy because he says I should be running below 60 soon. Vanessa (assistant coach) said that I reminded her of herself when she began running. She had the same exact time as she got and she ended up running a 58 that season. Now she is running a 56. I hope that is going to be me :).

So tommorrow is my last day but I still have practice but its in the afternoon now. Its going to start at 2 i'm pretty sure. We are going to find out for sure tomorrow. Pretty excited seasons coming quickly. I was told we are going to be going to San Diego 2 times (UC and State) pretty cool! We have a full schedule this year...yes...

Siobhan's school performance is one Thursday. I can't wait to see her singing and stuff. Her dance on is one Saturday.

Grandma Carol's surgury is on Friday. Im going to be watching the little D while dads there.

Oh and today at track we had an argument if Al Pacino is hot or not and YES he is!

Tommorrow I think we r playing freeze tag...yep...i know. Then I have a committee meeting for the bookstore to go to at 9! Ahh not looking forward to that sometimes they are pretty boring.

Bruins basketball game

was AWESOME! It was so fun. The games are way better in life then watching on the tv. The guys look so different then on tv. I almost fainted because of all of the hotness. Even Lorenzo looked pretty fine. :) lol

The game was really fun and I learned all the chants that they do. I am practically a student now.

And John Wooden was there and he is sooo GREAT. He is a true role model for everyone. He is absolutely amazing. They did little biography video clips of him during the time outs and stuff and it was pretty cool. I knew alot of the stuff already because of the biography I did on him for AVID last year.

Man, I can't wait to go to another game, but this time at UCLA. Fun fun fun. I am going to look to see when our bball team is playing so I can start going to those.

Coach Kiefers party tommorrow. I'm so sad hes leaving. :( He is a good coach.

Man so today at track we ran a timed 300. I got a 47 which is pretty good I think for no spikes or anything. We also did 2 150's afterward and ! got a 20 and a 22. ! guess thats good for having ran the 300 before.

So I am so excited about Saturday. My first UCLA basketball game!!! My love Josh Shipp is going to be there. I am going to faint I know I am...

School is almost over and I am pretty excited yet I am so stressed out because of finals. I mean I have never felt this way before. Weird. I guess it's usual though. It's really just my math one I am worried about. The others I am fine with.

Dang I can't believe Christmas is almost here. These past couple of months have gone by so fast. Siobhan has a school and dance performance coming up and I am looking forward to those of course.

On Sunday is a retirement party for Coach Kiefer. I am sad he isn't staying the whole season because he is a hard but good coach and I am going to miss him. Alisha and I are going to give him a picture of us haha so he can remember his two favorite athletes! I am looking forward to it.

Grrr...

we are watching the UCLA vs. usc game and they are doing terrible. I can't even watch it. I am just happy we can easily beat usc in any other sport than football.

Next Saturday is UCLA basketball game. I am sooo excited...JOSH SHIPP, MICHAEL ROLL, DARREN COLLISON, KEVIN LOVE, LORENZO MATA AND LUC RICHARD A MABAMUTE!!!!!! Man I am going to wait by thier bus until they get back. I really am.

So I only have 2 more weeks of the semester. Then finals then break. I registered for my classes last night and got everything as planned so I am pretty happy. We might have a Christmas party for A.S. on the 20th. We don't know where it is going to be for sure yet, but hopefully they pick soon. We also are doing secret santas and I have no idea wha to get my person. We are also having a retirement party for my coach next Sunday. Its kind of sad because I was lookig forward to him coaching this season, but at least I got to be coached by him during offseason.

I am about to go put the Christmas lights up at the half.

We have a 400 timed sprint in track coming up. I am so nervous. I know I can do it, but I am worried about my time. I hope it is really good.

My Christmas Shopping...

is done!!! yes my earliest ever. I got my gifts for everyone on my list. I am so happy because ususally I still have to get people gifts like 2 days before Christmas.

My mom and I went shopping at 7 am this morning and Toys R Us wasnt that crowded. We can up with that if you are going to go shopping on "black friday" only go if they have the tings you want on sale BIG TIME because if not there is not that many good deals.

So plans for tonight are Elizabeth is coming over at 4 pm maybe go the the movies and just hang out. We haven't seen each other for like a month. CRAZY!

Saturday...i dunno...babysit probably.

Homecoming Game

is tomorrow. Im pretty excited. It will be my first game as a student and a bunch of people from track are supposed to go. I think it is going to be really fun and exciting. Afterwards we are going to El DIa De Los Muertos celebration in Santa Ana.

Sunday is the Galaxy match and I am super happy. I get to see my boys one last time...tear...last time to see Xavier.
